Welcome to www.eclipseawards.com which is operated by Eclipse Awards International Inc. ("Eclipse Awards"). Throughout the site, the terms “us”, “we” and “our” refer to Eclipse Awards. These terms and conditions govern your use of our website and services. By using our services, visiting our site, or making a purchase, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions stated here.

Please note our terms and conditions before using this website. If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions here, then you may not access our website or services. You can review the most current version of our terms and conditions here, and we reserve the right to change or update these terms as needed. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of www.eclipseawards.com following any updates to our terms and conditions constitutes acceptance of these updates.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or services, users agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

3. Service Description

Eclipse Awards designs and produces bespoke trophies, awards, plaques and sign products, which we personalize with custom designs, logos, and text. We also provide graphic design, laser engraving, sandblast engraving, UV printing, and delivery and logistics services. We are a social purpose company and we exist to uplift and empower communities, making earth friendly trophies to celebrate everyday people and unite the human spirit. 

4. Ordering and Payment

4.1 Ordering Process: To place an order for trophies, customers can browse our website, select products, and follow the ordering process as described on the site. Orders can also be placed via email or by phone.

4.2 Payment Methods: Customers can make payments using the payment methods specified on our website. Canadian clients are charged in CAD funds which can be paid by e-transfer, wire transfer, credit card or cheque, and are subject to taxes based on the Province or Territory of delivery. US and International clients are charged in USD which can be paid by ACH transfer, wire transfer, credit card, or check, and are not subject to Canadian taxes when shipped outside of Canada. Pricing, taxes, and any applicable fees will be clearly outlined on an invoice prior to any charges.

4.3 International Shipments: Shipments sent beyond Canada and the US may have duty imposed by the country’s import officials. In such cases, Eclipse Awards will prepay any duties on your behalf for your convenience and to expedite delivery. When this happens, you will receive a second invoice for these duties, along with supporting documentation. Note that it can take up to 2 months for these duties to be reported, after your shipment is delivered. If you have further questions, please contact acccounts @ eclipseawards.com.

4.4 Refunds and Exchanges: because all products are customized, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on customized awards or trophies. However, we do stand behind the quality and integrity of our service and will work with you to achieve a suitable solution, should the need arise.

5. Customization and Artwork Approval

Customers can customize their trophies by submitting logos, text, or other digital assets. Any costs or limitations related to customization will be detailed before or during the artwork proof and review process.

The artwork review and approval process is critical.

Clients can request unlimited design revisions at no charge during the design process, and are also responsible for carefully reviewing all artwork in terms of layout, spelling, grammar and dates to ensure the final product is produced as intended.

However production will not occur until the client has approved the PDF artwork proof provided by Eclipse Awards. Customers must provide an emailed approval. 

After artwork has been approved, any further design changes are subject to a charge.


6. Shipping and Delivery

6.1 Shipping Policies: Eclipse Awards provides details of our shipping and delivery policies on our website. These include our standard lead time, rush services, and shipping discounts available on orders with 5+ weeks lead time. Shipping charges are determined by the requested delivery date and Eclipse Awards reserves the right to ship by any service needed to such delivery date. Note that some shipments may arrive early, but we guarantee they will not arrive late. Pickup is available to companies within the MetroVancouver area.

6.2 Requested Delivery Date: when placing an order, clients must indicate a requested delivery date, which is when they want their order delivered by. Eclipse Awards will ensure that the order is delivered by the end of day, on that date.

6.3 Shipping Partners: Eclipse Awards uses UPS for all international shipments and the majority of domestic shipments. As a UPS preferred partner, Eclipse Awards has special access to UPS services to help ensure safe and on-time deliveries. For shipments within Metro Vancouver, Eclipse Awards also uses Novex Couriers, a carbon neutral courier with electric vehicles.

6.4 Shipping Instructions: Eclipse Awards can ship to any address in the world, however we cannot ship to PO boxes as we require a signature upon delivery. We also request a contact name and phone number at each location to help ensure timely delivery. Contact numbers are only used if UPS is unable to locate the address provided.

UPS will make 3 attempts to deliver to a location. If UPS is unable to complete delivery due to not locating the address, no one available at the address to receive the shipment, or the business is closed, they will either abandon the package (dispose of it), or ship it back to Eclipse Awards. If the award is shipped back to Eclipse, the client will be charged for the return shipping, as well as the new outbound shipping to an updated address. In the event that the package is abandoned, the client will still be responsible for the original cost and shipping. If the client wishes to create a replacement, Eclipse Awards will provide a 20% courtesy discount on the replacement and normal shipping charges will apply to resend it. 6.5. Undeliverable Shipments: UPS will make 3 attempts to deliver to a location. If UPS is unable to complete delivery due to not locating the address, no one available at the address to receive the shipment, or the business is closed, they will either abandon the package (dispose of it), or ship it back to Eclipse Awards. If the award is shipped back to Eclipse, the client will be charged for the return shipping, as well as the new outbound shipping to an updated address. 7. Production Times

Our standard production time is 3 weeks (15 business days) from the date of artwork approval. However order processing and production times may vary depending on a client’s requested delivery dates. Clients can expect artwork proofs within 2 business days once all details and logos have been provided. Eclipse Awards offers 5 levels of rush services in cases where clients require expedited service and delivery.

8. Returns

We do not accept any returns. Items that have been damaged during shipment, incorrectly engraved due to our error, or have an inherent flaw that compromises its integrity or quality may be eligible for a refund or a replacement. To initiate a claim, contact our customer support team with your order information and pictures of the offending issue within 3 days of receiving your order.

9. Quality Assurance

Eclipse Awards is committed to delivering high-quality products. In the event of any issues or errors in orders, we have a process in place for resolution, as outlined on our website. If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, let us know and we’ll make it right.

10. Copyright and Trademarks

Any artwork (including logos, text, photograph or design) submitted to us is reproduced subject to the following criteria:

  • You warrant and that you are legally authorized to reproduce the trademark or design, or
  • You are the sole legal owner and have a license, including copyright, to reproduce the artwork, trade name, logo, statement, portrait, graphic, artwork, photograph, picture or illustration of any person or any other intellectual property included in such design.
  • You warrant that no part of the artwork infringes the right of any other party and is not subject to any restriction which would make reproduction illegal.
  • You undertake to hold harmless and indemnify Eclipse Awards International Inc. against any action for infringement of copyright and pay all damages and costs incurred (including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys’ fees, costs and travel costs) associated with any such claim, suit or proceeding.
  • You authorize Eclipse Awards to show photographs of the item supplied on our web site, and use such photographs to demonstrate the appearance of the customized item for marketing purposes. This authorization may be rescinded at any time on 30 days notice in writing, and will be removed from our web site. Any photo on a printed item will not be reprinted if authorization is rescinded.

11. Liability and Disclaimers

Eclipse Awards disclaims liability for errors or inaccuracies in trophies or website content. Customers acknowledge these limitations.

12. Changes to Terms

Eclipse Awards reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions.
