When handling crystal or glass pieces, wash your hands or wear the supplied gloves to prevent the transfer of fingerprints and oils. To avoid scratches, do not allow any hard or metal objects (like rings) from coming into contact with the crystal. Crystal and glass are durable, but should be handled gently and carefully.
To clean: mix a solution of 70% warm water and 30% Windex, then dampen a soft cloth and wipe the crystal gently to avoid scratching the surface and disturbing the markings. If needed, use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe away any residual moisture.
When handing wooden pieces, wash your hands or wear the supplied gloves to limit the transfer of fingerprints and oils. Wooden awards are very durable, but should be handled with clean hands for best results.

The Maple Block Award is a warm and friendly little wooden award that is made from solid maple. Perfect as an employee recognition award because it has a tiny footprint and doesn't take up much desk space.
People love receiving these desktop awards because they are simple and modest. They also feel nice to touch and hold, and the solar laser engraving gives them the faint scent of a cozy campfire.
Maple Blocks can be personalized for any occasion, though they are particularly useful for recognizing volunteer service, leadership in sustainability, conservation efforts, or milestone achievements.
Explore the Inspiration Gallery at the bottom of this page for examples of how The Maple Block Award has been customized.
